embrace the ocean skin
2013
vinyl paint, ink, pigment, watercolor on paper
22"x30"
In the ocean skin a crack emerged and from that crack a giggling could be heard. The ocean had no shame and could just giggle at any thought it might have. Unlike the ocean, the people of this village could only wish for private guilt, their history vanished by neighborly eyes and thoughts they could not forget. And at night, they sat and stared at the ocean and longed to have their shame rolled up under giggling waves.
