petal pushing otherness
2018
acrylic gouache, ink, watercolor on hand paper
22"x30"

The twins lived apart in two houses facing away from each other and divided by others. One twin never took the train to town, much less go outside. The other twin rarely stayed home, and would often walk the isle of the train like he was looking for more than a seat. The twins envied each other but rarely spoke. Both twins smarted from the constant otherness, yet secretly they longed for each other.
